Roberto is the Sr Director of Device Marketing at Merz North America. In his role, he oversees the management of the Ultherapy and Celfina brands, including consumer insights, digital marketing, creative development and agency management, marketing effectiveness, sponsorships, creating consumer awareness and advocacy, and drive customer preference for the brands through all channels. Prior to Joining Merz, Roberto held different marketing roles throughout Europe and North america for Schering-Plough (now Merck), Ethicon and Mentor WW LLC (part of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies). He has a unique expertise in interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills honed through increased responsibilities during his career in three continents. He is Fluent in English, Spanish, and Swedish. Roberto holds the title of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from La Salle University in Bogota, Colombia, and has studied Latin American Social Studies at the University of Stockholm, and holds a Diploma in Marketing from the IHM Business School in Stockholm. He is the recipient of several awards including the Johnson & Johnson Marketing Excellence Award, the Merz CEO Award for Stellar Performance by a team and Top Marketing Executive in 2017 & 2018 by Aesthetic Everything.
